About

Producer, engineer, musician and composer with extensive experience in the music industry. Throughout his career, he has stood out for his versatility and passion for music. Santiago completed his undergraduate studies in Musical Production and Engineering at Universidad San Francisco de Quito (Quito-Ecuador), where he also completed a minor in contemporary music.

Career path
Santiago established Loop Studio (Quito – Ecuador) in 2014, showcasing his entrepreneurial skills. Subsequently, in 2017, he ventured into the realm of audio production by founding Sound Zoo, with a focus on recording live sessions.


Collaborations
Throughout his career, Santiago Borja has collaborated with renowned bands and artists, among whom are Norick, Da Pawn, 3Vol, Dulce y Agraz, Daniel Páez, Telebit, Arbol de Ojos, Felipe Moon, Lily Blue, Jonah Eh, Samantha Quénedit, Darío Cousteau, among others.

Recognitions
Recently, he obtained the Avid Scholarship to continue his musical studies at Abbey Road Institute Miami, where he has had the opportunity to train alongside prominent professionals such as Julio Reyes Copello and Robin Reumers.

Recent Collaborations
In 2020, he collaborated with Sebastian Krys of Rebeleon Entertainment – Universal Music Group in the production of Felipe Moon.
Since his arrival at Abbey Road Institute Miami, Santiago Borja has had the opportunity to collaborate with artists from renowned in the music industry, such as Camilo, Natalia Lafourcade, Juanes, Joaquina, The Rasmus, Pitizion, Ha Ash, Riza, Paola Guanche, MYA, Annasofía, Tuti, among others, as well as on the soundtrack of “Zorro” which features the participation of artists such as Juanes, Carin Leon, Morat, Joaquina, and more.

With a solid academic background and an outstanding professional career, Santiago Borja continues to leave his mark in the music scene with his talent and dedication.
